OVERVIEW

At roya, we ship premium women's travel bags from our fulfillment center in Kuwait to customers across the GCC and worldwide. This policy explains our shipping zones, delivery times, costs, and what to expect after placing your order.

3. ORDER PROCESSING TIME

After you place an order, we need time to prepare it before handing it to the carrier:

4. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS (No Shipping or Delivery)

We do not ship on the following Kuwaiti public holidays:


  • 🕌 Eid Al-Fitr (3 days)

  • 🐑 Eid Al-Adha (4 days)

  • 🇰🇼 National Day (February 25)

  • 🇰🇼 Liberation Day (February 26)

  • 🌙 Islamic New Year

  • 🕌 Prophet's Birthday

  • 🌟 Isra and Mi'raj

  • 📅 New Year's Day (January 1)


Orders placed during holidays will ship on the next business day.


 

 

5. WEDDING SEASON & PEAK PERIODS

During Kuwait's wedding season (February – April and September – November), order volume increases significantly. We recommend:


  • Order at least 5 business days before your event

  • Choose Express Same-Day if the wedding is within Kuwait

  • Add a note at checkout: "Wedding gift — needed by [date]"


Our team will prioritize your order accordingly.


 

 

6. TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Once your order ships, you will receive:


📧 Email with tracking number and carrier link 📱 SMS with the same details 💬 WhatsApp message (if you opted in)


You can also track your order anytime by:


  1. Logging into your account at roya.com/account

  2. Visiting the carrier's website (Aramex, DHL) with your tracking number


If you do not receive tracking info within 48 hours of order confirmation, contact us at benshaty1989@gmail.com.


 

 

7. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Inside Kuwait:

  • Our courier will attempt delivery 2 times

  • If both fail, the order returns to our warehouse

  • We will contact you to reschedule or refund (deducting return shipping)

GCC & International:

  • Aramex/DHL attempts delivery 2-3 times

  • After failed attempts, the package goes to a local pickup point for 5-7 days

  • Uncollected packages return to Kuwait at the customer's expense


To avoid failed deliveries:


  • ✅ Provide a complete address (Block, Street, House, Floor)

  • ✅ Include a working phone number

  • ✅ Be reachable on the delivery day

  • ✅ For apartments: include apartment number and any access codes


 

 

8. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES

For Kuwait orders:

  • All prices include any applicable Kuwaiti taxes

  • No additional fees at delivery

  • COD orders: 1 KWD service fee added

For GCC orders:

  • Most GCC countries have no customs duties on personal-use goods under 1,000 KWD value

  • Saudi Arabia VAT (15%) may apply at customs for orders above 1,000 SAR

  • We declare the actual product value (no under-declaring)

For International orders:

  • You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by your country

  • These are NOT included in our shipping cost

  • Refusal to pay customs results in the package being abandoned (no refund)


Recommended: Check your country's import rules before ordering high-value items.


 

 

9. LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Once a package is marked "Delivered" by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer.

If your package is marked delivered but not received:

  1. Check with your neighbors, building security, or doorman

  2. Look for delivery photos in the carrier's tracking page

  3. Contact the carrier directly:

    • Aramex: 1820000 (Kuwait)

    • DHL: 1808888 (Kuwait)

  4. If unresolved within 48 hours, contact us at benshaty1989@gmail.com

Our protection:

  • For Kuwait orders: we file a claim with the courier and replace at no cost (if courier confirms loss)

  • For international orders: DHL insurance covers up to 100 USD automatically; we recommend the insured shipping option for high-value orders


 

 

10. WRONG OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESS

If you provide an incorrect address:


  • Before shipping: Email us within 1 hour of placing the order to update (free)

  • After shipping: You pay the cost to redirect the package (typically 5-10 KWD)

  • If undeliverable: Return shipping cost is deducted from your refund


Please double-check your address at checkout.


 

 

11. GIFT ORDERS

To send a roya bag as a gift:


✅ Free gift wrapping (premium dust bag, ribbon, and gift card) ✅ Add a personal message in the order notes at checkout ✅ We can ship directly to the recipient's address ✅ No prices or invoices included in the package


Mark the box "This is a gift" at checkout.


 

 

12. EXPRESS & RUSH ORDERS

Need it faster? We offer:


🚀 Same-Day Delivery (Kuwait only)


  • Order before 12:00 PM Kuwait time

  • Delivered between 4-9 PM the same day

  • Cost: 4 KWD

  • Available Sunday-Thursday


🚀 DHL Express International


  • 2-4 business days to most cities worldwide

  • Cost: 35-50 KWD

  • Selectable at checkout for international orders


 

 

13. SHIPPING DURING RAMADAN

During Ramadan, our shipping operates on a modified schedule:


  • Order cutoff: Reduced to 2:00 PM daily

  • Delivery hours: 10 AM – 4 PM and 8 PM – 10 PM

  • Eid orders: Order at least 7 days before Eid to guarantee delivery


We send Ramadan-specific shipping reminders via email.


 

 

14. RETURNED-TO-SENDER PACKAGES

If a package is returned to us because:


  • The recipient was unreachable

  • Address was incorrect

  • Customs were not paid (international)


You have two options:


  1. Re-ship by paying the shipping cost again

  2. Refund minus original + return shipping costs


We hold returned packages for 30 days before treating them as abandoned.
